Demand Justice for Maher Arar

Maher Arar is a Syrian-born Canadian Citizen who has sued Donald Rumsfeld for Rendition. He was "disappeared" en route from JFK Airport back to his home in Canada, and sent to Syria where he was tortured FOR A YEAR before being released without ANY charges. This disgraceful demonstration of BushCo justice must be disavowed by every right thinking citizen. Here's the latest from Center for Constitutional Rights:
Help us pack the courthouse! Come at 9:30 a.m. this Friday and show your support for Maher, a victim of the U.S. practice of "extraordinary rendition" and torture post-9/11.
Maher Arar's case has been changed.
It has now been moved up to the first case that will be argued Friday, November 9.
Please show up by 9:30 a.m. - the argument will begin at 10 a.m.
CCR Board member David Cole will be arguing for CCR.
