Homeless Vets--A National Disgrace!
Screening and Panel Discussion: "When I Came Home": documentary about homeless veterans in America, from those who served in Vietnam to those returning from the current war in Iraq.While our government spends billions on war, social problems at home continue to escalate. Among the most appalling are the conditions facing veterans who return from the war only to find themselves without work or a place to live.Panel discussion will include an Iraq war veteran, as well as the film-maker Dan Lohaus. This program is a memorial tribute to Ricky Singh, former VP, Black Veterans for Social Justice.
